After-Work Yoga
A short yoga class of 60min with active asana (body exercises) and relaxing pranayama (breathing exercises) right after work. Yoga brings new energy and strength and relaxes you for the rest of the evening. No previous experience necessary.
Ashtanga Basic
The Ashtanga Basic class is a slower and more detailed version of the regular Ashtanga class. Each lesson has a different focus. Perfect for yoga or Ashtanga beginners and for those who want to deepen their yoga practice. Ashtanga Yoga is a traditional, dynamic form of Yoga. Many asana (physical exercises) are also found in other forms of yoga, but in Ashtanga they are practiced together as a chain through vinyasa (a synchronization of breathing and movement). The increased body heat helps to detoxify and purify the body. Ashtanga Yoga strengthens your body and calms mind and soul.
Ashtanga Inspired Flow
A challenging but fun practice based on the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system. With a strong emphasis on alignment and breath, this class will help strengthen both the body and the mind. Leave feeling energised and ready for the week ahead.
Ashtanga Mysore
Mysore is perfect for both beginners and those with more yoga experience. Taught in both English and German.
The first Tuesday of the month is an “instructional led” class where we take a closer look at the asanas. On the remaining Tuesdays we practice in Mysore style.
The timing of the mysore sessions is flexible – you may attend class during the allotted time frame, coming and leaving as fits your schedule and as you complete your practice.
At the start and the end of each Ashtanga class, we sing opening and closing mantras together. You can find a copy of the texts and a translation in English at the bottom of this page.
Ashtanga Yoga is a traditional, dynamic form of yoga. While many of the asanas (postures) are the same as those found in other forms of yoga, in Ashtanga, they are joined together through vinyasa or specific steps in which breath and movement are synchronized. As a result the asanas are practiced in a fluid sequence, resulting in increased internal heat and purifying sweat, which in turn help to detoxify the body. Other benefits include a strong body, peaceful mind and a calm soul.
Mysore is the traditional self practice form of Ashtanga Yoga. During a Mysore class, students receive one-on-one assistance in the form of adjustments and advice from the teacher–just like a private lesson. Through the Mysore practice, students are able to develop a self-practice, within their own breath rhythm, enabling them to decide tempo and intensity, as the best preparation for their own yoga practice at home.

Moon Hatha
Hatha yoga, which is made up of the two syllables Ha ("moon") and Tha ("sun"), is about harmonizing the two opposing energies that every human being carries within themselves.
This 10-week course focuses on the lunar practice or Yin Yoga, a deep, nourishing and meditative practice. The yoga postures are held for longer to experience deep self-awareness and relaxation. The connective tissue and muscles are increasingly stretched with the help of gravity. The aim is to relax into the exercises/asanas and allow the breath to flow freely in order to achieve inner peace and release underlying tension in the organs and muscles. The focus is on calm and stability for body and mind and looking inwards. The course consists of meditative elements as well as asanas and relaxation and prepares you for a deep, healing sleep.
Pre-Natal Yoga
Special relaxation and breathing exercises from Hatha Yoga help to release tensions and achieve inner balance. The class helps to reduce pain in the back and neck and help against sleep disorders and fatigue. The participants practice without pressure within their individual capacities. No previous knowledge of yoga is necessary.
Vinyasa Yoga Flow
Vinyasa Flow is a physically, dynamic from of yoga, in which the breath is used to join various yoga postures (asanas) together in a flowing sequence. Through this practice of yoga, we strengthen our muscles, and improve endurance, balance and flexibility.
Vinyasa Yoga Flow - Level 1-2
Vinyasa Flow is a physically, dynamic from of yoga, in which the breath is used to join various yoga postures (asanas) together in a flowing sequence. Through this practice of yoga, we strengthen our muscles, and improve endurance, balance and flexibility.
The level 1-2 vinyasa yoga flow class is a more challenging version of the vinyasa yoga flow class. Complete beginners are recommended to attend the Yoga Basic class on Wednesday evening at 20 h.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slow and meditative form of yoga, in which the Asanas (postures) are held for a long period of time (any where between 3-5 minutes.) Most of the Asanas are practiced in either sitting or reclining position and focus on the area of the body between the chest and knees. By holding the Asanas for a long period of time during which the muscles are kept relaxed, one is able to work on the body at a deep level, affecting the meridian system and energy flow within the body. Tendons and joints are also stretched, bringing more flexibility for more Yang oriented forms of yoga, such as Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga Flow. Yin Yogis are recommended to bring warm clothing and socks to class:-)
