Anxiety Release

Daily life is full of stressors – and these days this can feel extreme. While we can not always change the external situation, yoga offers many tools which can help us to better ride the waves of turbulence. In this three hour workshop, we will discuss the physiology of stress in body, how stress effects the autonomic nervous system and how its two branches (the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems) ideally work hand in hand to keep the body in balance. We will then explore elements of the yoga practice including gentle asana, breathwork (pranayama), guided meditation and chanting, which are particularly helpful in times of anxiety and stress.
No previous experience is required. Pregnant women are welcome to attend. All levels are welcome.
This workshop will take place in YogaBee Studio / YogaBee Online in English. Questions can be answered in German.
The number of places is limited in the studio – please be sure to reserve yours in advance. 60 €

The teachings of Ayurveda serve as a sister science to yoga, offering complementary transformative techniques that lead to better mental and physical health. In this talk, Dr. Anoosha and Bianca Seeman explain the basics of Ayurveda and its relationship to yoga. Refreshments will be served during the tea break, and there will be time for Q&A.
