Yoga for people with trauma

Yoga for people with trauma

The positive effects of yoga on the body and mind are now widely recognized and scientifically researched. Practice shows that mindful yoga can accelerate healing when used in conjunction with psychotherapy. Breathing techniques (pranayama) and physical exercises (asanas) help to calm the body, breathing, and mind, ultimately bringing them into harmony. Trauma-sensitive yoga can have a lasting positive effect on post-traumatic growth.

A small group with few participants offers you a safe environment where you can feel secure and protected. The exercises are adapted to your abilities and you only do what feels right for you.

To participate in the course, you should have already started or completed psychotherapy and have the ability to regulate yourself.

Starting Wednesday, January 7, 2026, 3:15 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.

Minimum number of participants: 4 people

Course fee: €16 per 90-minute course unit.

A discount is available for welfare recipients, refugees, and school/university students.
