
Mikayla
Yoga has been an anchor in Mikayla’s life since 2019, when a friend gifted her a membership to a local studio in Vancouver, Canada. She quickly fell in love with the practice, and continues to appreciate how yoga offers a safe space for self-discovery and growth. Through life’s different seasons and ups and downs, yoga returns us to ourselves, the body, and the present moment.
Mikayla went on to complete her 200-hour training in 2022 with Gayatri Yoga School in Tenerife, Spain and considers herself a passionate student. Recently, she spent time practicing in India with different teachers and styles, including classical Sivananda, ashtanga, and creative embodiment yoga.
Mikayla’s Yin classes are a calming space where you can slow down and quiet the mind, connecting with yourself, your emotions, and the body through conscious breathing and meditative movements. This contemplative practice helps one relax, release, and let go.
