Are you curious about mindfulness?
In this experiential 90-minute workshop, we will take a glimpse into the latest research on the neuroscience of mindfulness, how it affects your brain, and the neurological architecture of focused attention and awareness.
You’ll gain knowledge on the neuroscience of the brain’s neural rewiring through mindful practices via breath, five senses, body sensations and awareness.
This workshop will provide an introductory experience of mindfulness practices to hone your attention with self-awareness, equanimity, and compassion for meeting life’s daily challenges.
As you experience more mindfulness throughout your moments, you’ll find greater well-being and enliven your energy. This will be an excellent opportunity for a rest and recharging personal afternoon retreat. You will return home with a centering practice you can do anywhere, anytime.
Vy lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and has a Certification in Mindfulness Facilitation from the (UCLA) Mindful Awareness Research Center. She is also trained in Focusing, a somatic process to listen to the wisdom of the body.
Vy founded In Wave Group in 2014 after serving 15 years in management consulting and business development with PricewaterhouseCoopers, IBM, and Baxter Healthcare. She was trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and through her daily mindful practices, experienced greater self-awareness, leading to greater well-being. Vy was extremely inspired by the practice, and established IWG to pursue her passion and purpose in bringing mindfulness training based well-being and self-management programs to the workplace and community. She has a degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Computing and Business Administration from UCLA, and an MBA from University of Southern California focusing on Strategy and Marketing. She also teaches mindfulness to teens at Insight Meditation Center in the San Francisco Bay Area
