Workshop with Ruthi

Are you often stressed? Do you get overwhelmed by just thinking about your To-Do list? Does it block you or slow you down?

In our last stress release workshop we learned about the physiological and neurological stress response. We also learned several fast and easy stress release techniques. In this workshop we will dive more into the practice. After an asana practice intended to release and relax, we will practice in depth some of the stress release techniques. New techniques will also be introduced.

By the end of this workshop you would own a toolbox of different stress-relief techniques that help deal with stress and anxiety. You will gain confidence in your own ability to cope with stressful situations and reducing internal stress. The variety of methods ensures that you will find something that works for you.

This workshop is suitable for everyone. Newcomers will learn a toolbox of stress-release techniques. Those who attended the last stress release workshop can expect to deepen their practice and learn new methods.

The workshop will take place in English, with German translation is possible when needed. A detailed summary will be provided.

About

Dr. Ruth Adam (Ruthi) is a neuroscientist and a yoga teacher (500 hours, Yoga Alliance). She holds a master degree in Cognitive Science and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. She was the lead investigator in research projects examining attention and emotion processing in the brain at the Max-Planck-Institute, University of Heidelberg and the University Hospital of Munich (LMU). Ruthi teaches active-yet-grounding vinyasa-flow as well as relaxation and stress-release classes, all with humor and joy. She is committed to using scientific knowledge to better understand the practice of yoga.
